Seriously vintage salt and pepper shakers have sparked my inner debate about reconditioning antique items versus keeping them in their 'original' form. The black (pepper) shaker shows considerable wear, and the paint is a bit flaky. Salt shaker is in good condition. Both are heavy, cast metal construction like you could only have found back in the day.
